The Side-Emitting RGB LED strip segment contains 54 OSRAM side-emitting LEDs and is perfect for Colour-changing lighting applications where no other light sources can fit.
LED Strips are great for back lighting, accent lighting, decorative or feature lighting.
Ideally, the LED strips are used with a diffuser, such as semi-translucent acrylic material. This gives them the desirable even spread of light, so that the resulting glow is not 'dotty' or 'patchy'.
The high density of the LEDs spread along the surface of the Side Emitting LED Strip ensures that the light is even along the strip and the glare is reduced.
The light output from each LED blends with the light output from the LED(s) next to it, resulting in a most uniform glow.
